The tough angle and the fact the character is partly in water are two things that really make this stick out. The colors harmony is nice as well. Good job!

I like the name of the dragon, and the face is fantastic. Looks like the lad's gonna leap out the water in a flurry of water and wings any second now! *Sits watching, dizzily, waiting to see if he does.*
