Drawn to the song "fix you" by Coldplay, the lyrics are really the description of this image... it was simply perfect for the reason behind why I drew it.
I greatly like the feathers (in the equine sense) on the forelimbs - they remind me of the old lace sleeves you see in costume books that are so elegant and yet so impractical.
